Here you see a view of downtown Shanghai-The round bildg. is the Art M.-Shanghai is a country to itself,very cleen and friendly. The people even have their own brand of Chinese. It is said to be the safest city in China with about 18 million people. This is a view of the Yangtze river by the RR station in Nanjing. We are on our way back to Shanghai. The trip back on the train was fun,we got to see a little of the countryside,I also sent text messages on my China cell phone. Tall bamboo on the road to the top of the Purple Mtn. The cable car did not run today because of high wind so we had to hoof it. When we got down there wer no taxis so we had to walk another mile to a major road,we did manage to buy a coke at a gulf course for about 40 cents-highway robery -cokes usuallly cost about 30 cents American.
